Established Canton Judge Ira G. Turpin built a legacy of integrity and leadership that lives on through his scholarship fund. Recently, the Ira G. Hannah’s House 119 was created on the idea that just one trusted and caring mentor can change the trajectory of a young girl’s life. Beyond the walls of the faith-based nonprofit’s consistent programming, the summer season offers more opportunities for its participants to build developmental skills and meaningful relationships with mentors. “We want the girls to leave summer not only having fun, but also discovering new strengths, building new friendships and making memories. The North Canton Playhouse Center for Performing Arts is celebrating 50 years!
