Suffolk Las Vegas is excited to share continued progress at the iconic Flamingo Hotel and Casino, where our Gaming and Hospitality Center of Excellence team has completed Phase 2 of ongoing renovations. This project includes a full transformation of the hotel lobby with new flooring, ceiling treatments, lighting, registration desk pods, and column design, along with the addition of a new lobby bar. The VIP registration area will also be renovated with new perimeter walls, upgraded finishes, a dedicated registration desk, and a host office designed to elevate the guest experience. We look forward to collaborating with our partners at Caesars Entertainment on this project and are proud to continue delivering high-impact hospitality projects on the Las Vegas Strip.

Suffolk Dallas recently joined Post L Group, Children's Health and The Shops At RedBird to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Children’s Health Specialty Center RedBird, marking the start of a transformative project that will expand access to pediatric care for families across southern Dallas County. The project will convert an existing retail space into a 40,000-square-foot specialty center offering urgent care, primary care, behavioral health, orthopedics, sports medicine and other pediatric services. This milestone is especially meaningful for our team, who understand the lasting impact this facility will have on families and the broader community. Congratulations to everyone helping bring this important project to life.

What can the Civil War's most famous battlefield teach our superintendents about leadership? For the second year in a row, a group of 30 Suffolk supers found out. The group traveled to Gettysburg, Penn., with our team from Red & Blue University, Suffolk's comprehensive suite of learning and career development offerings. There, they explored the site's history and how its legacy can inform our approach to the built world. As America marks 250 years, moments like this remind us how the lessons of our nation’s history can continue to shape the way we lead and build today. Suffolk Northeast’s Jason Seaburg, Executive Vice President and Division Manager, recently joined industry leaders at the Rist Institute for Sustainability & Energy at the University of Massachusetts Lowell for a panel discussion on the growing nuclear and fusion energy ecosystem in Massachusetts. Suffolk San Diego is proud to have received the American Public Works Association’s “Project of the Year” award and the American Society of Civil Engineers’ “Outstanding Energy Project” award for our work on the San Diego Gas & Electric Granite 69kV Substation Rebuild project. These awards recognize the collaboration and technical expertise required to deliver critical improvements to the region’s energy infrastructure. Completed within an active and energized substation, the project required careful coordination and demonstrated our team’s ability to safely and efficiently manage highly complex energy infrastructure work. Congratulations to our project team, and thank you to SDG&E for its partnership throughout this important project.

America's 250th birthday gave us a chance to honor the role that construction played in shaping this country. And though the anniversary itself might be in the rearview mirror, our trades are still showing up. They're still building, striving, and moving the nation forward, one project at a time. Suffolk Northeast is proud to serve as lead contractor for Brown University’s William A. and Ami Kuan Danoff Life Sciences Laboratories, one of Rhode Island’s most ambitious construction projects. The seven-story, 300,000-square-foot facility will support research in aging, immunity, brain science, cancer, biomedical engineering and more. It will become the largest academic laboratory building in Rhode Island when it opens. This article offers a look inside the project’s progress, from the fully enclosed skybridge connecting Danoff Laboratories to Brown’s Laboratories for Molecular Medicine, to the dense network of pipes and conduits carefully coordinated to support the building’s highly technical lab environments. This past weekend, Suffolk’s Estero team was honored to celebrate the dedication of the All Veterans Memorial in Fort Myers, a lasting tribute to the service, sacrifice and courage of the men and women who have defended our nation. This meaningful project was made possible through the collaboration of the City of Fort Myers, Grace Design Studios, Apex Companies, sculptor Steve Dickey, our trade partners and community supporters. Suffolk was proud to contribute in-kind construction management, design coordination and permitting services to help bring this vision to life. Through partnerships with Home Base, our Veterans Business Resource Group and veteran-focused initiatives across the country, Suffolk remains committed to honoring those who have served. As our nation celebrates America’s 250th anniversary, we’re proud to have helped create a place where future generations can reflect, remember and honor the legacy of our veterans.
