About us

Sweetgreen (NYSE: SG) is on a mission to build healthy communities by connecting people to real food. Since 2007, the brand has reimagined what fast food can be: fresh, flavorful, and built on real relationships with growers. Born at the farmers market, Sweetgreen’s supply chain now spans the country, still rooted in relationships with local farmers and growers. That foundation continues to guide its seasonal, chef-crafted menus across more than 285 locations nationwide, creating spaces where food, people and purpose come together.

  • We know many people have questions following recent reports about the Cyclospora outbreak. Sweetgreen does not use iceberg lettuce in our menu. From the outset of the investigation, we have been in close contact with our suppliers to determine whether any ingredients in our supply chain have been identified as part of the investigation. To date, none have been.

  • We’re proud to be recognized by TIME as one of America’s Best Companies for the third time. 🌱 This recognition looks at what we care most about: how our people feel about working here, how we’re growing together, and how we’re building for tomorrow. • Alice, thank you for changing the way we think about food. Alice Waters taught us that extraordinary food begins with extraordinary ingredients. That the best cooking starts with the farmers who grow our food. And that when ingredients are at their peak, simplicity is the greatest expression of care. Her legacy reaches far beyond the table. Through The Edible Schoolyard Project, she's inspired generations to see food not just as nourishment, but as a way to connect with our communities, our environment, and one another. Our Alice Waters Peach & Goat Cheese Salad is a small tribute to that enduring philosophy. A celebration of peak-season ingredients, thoughtful sourcing, and the simple joy of letting great food speak for itself.

sweetgreen HC Impact Day East Region! We brought together our entire East Region for an incredible Head Coach Impact Day centered around leadership, hospitality, culture, and the impact we create every single day inside our restaurants. What made this day so powerful was the level of engagement, collaboration, and passion in the room. Watching leaders from across the region share ideas, challenge one another, learn together, and stay aligned on a common vision reminded me how special this team truly is. The conversations throughout the day reinforced that great leadership is not just about running only great metrics, it’s about building people, creating meaningful experiences, and leading with purpose and hospitality every day. A huge thank you to our Area Leaders and support partners for the energy, preparation, and commitment that made this event such a success. Your partnership and dedication continue to elevate our region and our people in so many ways. Most importantly, thank you to every Head Coach who showed up fully engaged and committed to growth. The passion in the room was inspiring, and it’s clear this team is building something incredibly special together. Thank you Jason Cochran, MBA Jonathan Neman for your support and participation. Proud of this team!! Wilian Villatoro Denis Ferrera Santos Ted Topkoff Francisco Tavarez Nikya Kuan Luis Romero, Ramy, Johan, Dafne. Thea Steele Rich Villanueva Marisa Yokoyama Phoebe Sims
