Great session by our partner Lightbug at Hardware Pioneers Max! 👏 The talk focused on the five key pillars that underpin a successful RTK deployment: 1️⃣ Module & Hardware 2️⃣ Antenna 3️⃣ Correction Source 4️⃣ Correction Delivery 5️⃣ Firmware & Safety When evaluating whether to build vs. buy an RTK solution, every layer of the stack matters—a failure in any single pillar can make or break a deployment. While teams often focus on hardware first, solving for a reliable correction source and delivery method is often one of the biggest challenges when scaling. That’s why we’ve partnered with Lightbug to integrate Swift’s Skylark™ Precise Positioning Service directly into their RTK ecosystem (including the RH2 RTK Handset). By pairing Lightbug’s turnkey hardware and firmware with Skylark’s cloud-delivered corrections, teams get out-of-the-box accuracy without the complexity and cost of setting up or maintaining local base stations. We’re proud to power Lightbug’s RTK solutions with Skylark, enabling turnkey accuracy for worker safety & asset tracking. In a courtroom, the difference between winning and losing a case can come down to centimeters. 🔍 When a vehicle crash ends up in litigation, forensic experts need to reconstruct exactly what happened – where the debris landed, where the tire marks started, where each vehicle was at the moment of impact. The evidence has to be irrefutable. Standard GPS doesn't cut it. Laser scanners produce mountains data, much of which is irrelevant. And drones can't see through tall grass or dense brush. Origin Forensics LLC needed something more surgical. They found it in Emlid RTK rovers powered by Swift Navigation's Skylark Nx RTK: 📍 Sub-2 cm horizontal accuracy — meeting the strict standards of legal proceedings 🎯 Targeted point collection for debris, tire marks, and landmarks drones can't see ✅ Checkpoints to verify drone maps and ensure data holds up under legal scrutiny 🌐 Cloud-based corrections with no local base stations — which works in remote locations 💰 Affordable enough to deploy without the cost of traditional survey-grade equipment The result: faster fieldwork, stronger evidence, and reconstructions that stand up in court. 👉 Read the full case study: https://lnkd.in/g5hcCfRY #ForensicMapping #CrashReconstruction #DroneMapping #GNSS #AccidentReconstruction #SwiftNavigation #Emlid

A scooter that parks in the wrong zone frustrates a rider. One that enters a pedestrian area at full speed puts people at risk. And one that consistently fails on both fronts loses the city contract. Safety, user experience, and compliance aren't separate problems — they're the same problem, and precise positioning sits at the centre of all three. At Micromobility Europe 2026, we spent time with the operators navigating this new reality firsthand. We sat down with Jochen Bruns, Director of Business Development, to unpack what we heard — and what precise positioning actually means for fleet safety, rider experience, and city relationships. 👉 https://lnkd.in/gvn9xzrJ Micromobility Industries #Micromobility #GNSS #PrecisePositioning #UrbanMobility #SmartCities #UrbanTransport #IoT

Following our recent AutoTech Award win, a lot of peers in the automotive space have asked about the specific architecture that caught the judges' attention. The short answer? We are bringing GNNS as a sensor to autonomous mobility, ensuring reliable positioning in edge cases where perception sensors fall short. As we push toward broader Level 2+ and Level 3 adoption, relying solely on optical or perception-based sensors leaves a critical vulnerability. If a camera for example can't see the lane, the system performance is degraded. To safely expand a vehicle's Operational Design Domain (ODD), the industry needs a redundant, non-optical layer of truth. At Swift Navigation, we built Skylark™ to be that cm level precise, absolute localization anchor. Operating as a real-time cloud service with ISO 26262 ASIL B certification, it provides the high-integrity data needed to keep automated systems online and safe, even in zero-visibility edge cases. I’ve shared a deeper breakdown of how we approach this safety-critical infrastructure in our latest piece. Take a look and feel free to contact us. We’d love to discuss where absolute positioning fits into your ADAS/AD roadmap. 🔗https://lnkd.in/g4ngRkaG #AutomotiveEngineering #ADAS #AutonomousDriving #FunctionalSafety #AutoTech2026 #AutoTech26

Debris on runways costs the global aviation industry $22 billion a year. Autonomous robots are changing that. ✈️ A single piece of debris can ground a fleet, damage an engine, or bring down an aircraft. The Concorde crash in 2000 – triggered by a strip of metal on the runway – is perhaps the most famous, and harrowing, example of this. Yet today, most airports still rely on staff manually scanning runway surfaces. It's slow, inconsistent, and wholly dependent on human attention. Essential Aero is replacing that with autonomous robots. And on an active airfield, staying within geofenced zones is critical for safe operations. That's where Swift Navigation's Skylark Precise Positioning Service comes in: 📍 Centimeter-level accuracy, consistently maintained across open airfield environments 🔒 Precise geofencing so robots never stray outside their approved operating zones 🛡️ Resilient against the radar, jamming, and interference common at busy airports ☁️ Cloud-based corrections — no physical base stations to build or maintain The result: systematic, trackable, fatigue-free debris detection; at a fraction of the operational cost. 👉 Read the full case study: https://lnkd.in/e9gpYSn2 #Robotics #Aviation #AirportSafety #GNSS #PrecisePositioning #SwiftNavigation #Autonomy

Sailboat race officiating has remained unchanged for nearly a century. We helped fix that. ⛵ Start lines can stretch over a mile. Race officers judge false starts by eye. Disputes get settled by whoever tells the most convincing story in the protest room. For a sport that can come down to centimeters, that's a problem. Vakaros built RaceSense to drag sailing into the data age, and integrated Swift Navigation's Skylark Precise Positioning Service to make it work anywhere in the world, no local base stations required: 📍 Centimeter-level boat tracking, in real time 🚫 Early starters flagged instantly – no more costly restarts ⚖️ Protests resolved with data, not debate 📊 Full race replays and performance analytics for every sailor 🌍 Deployed across 40+ countries, 500+ events per year From weekend club racers to elite international regattas – precise positioning, wherever the wind blows. 👉 Read the full case study: https://lnkd.in/ePNpEJBt #GNSS #PrecisePositioning #MarineTech #SwiftNavigation #Vakaros

🛰️ When evaluating a GNSS corrections provider, most people look at the station map. The assumption is simple: more stations must mean better performance. The atmosphere doesn't work that way. A dense reference network is important, but stations only tell you what's happening where they are. Atmospheric disturbances happen at scales finer than any commercial network can sample directly. What determines performance at the tail is how accurately a provider models what's happening between stations. In our latest blog post, we go under the hood of Skylark's atmospheric model: machine learning grounded in physics, trained on a full solar cycle of atmospheric observations, and built to turn a dense, high-quality reference network into reliable positioning even when the atmosphere stops behaving like an average day. If you're building products that depend on precise positioning, it's worth understanding what happens behind the corrections stream. 👉 Read the full blog post: https://lnkd.in/gxhPqTmk #GNSS #RTK #PrecisePositioning #AutonomousVehicles #Robotics #Surveying #Fleet #Micromobility #Geospatial #Drones #AssetTracking
