Strong showing last week from the infrastructure community.
Last week, AIAI joined public owners, industry leaders, advisors, developers, builders, operators, and partners in Dallas for the inaugural U.S. Infrastructure Development Conference. The goal was clear: to focus on what is working in the infrastructure sector, why it works, and what needs to be addressed to deliver more projects for communities.
Over two days, AIAI members helped lead practical, solutions-oriented discussions covering every facet of the infrastructure landscape, including project delivery, public engagement, financing, risk, dedicated infrastructure offices, public communication, and how to build the partnerships needed to move infrastructure forward.
One of the more powerful parts of the USIDC was the depth of the public-sector participation at the conference. More than 300 representatives from states, cities, and agencies across the country joined the conversation, engaging directly with industry partners on how to meet their communities’ infrastructure needs.
We left Dallas feeling optimistic about the state of the U.S. infrastructure landscape, not because the challenges are small, but because the people in the room were serious about solving them.
Major infrastructure projects only move forward when the public and private sectors are aligned around outcomes, trust, transparency, and delivery. USIDC has created the space for those conversations, and AIAI is proud to help carry them forward.
