What does it take to build more than a new store? It starts with people like John J. ❤️ As we recently began to welcome guests to our newest Target store in Brookings, South Dakota, we caught up with Store Director John J. to talk about leadership, community and what this opening means to him. Q: After 35 years in retail, what brought you to Target? John: "I was looking for a company whose values aligned with my own, emphasizing a people-first approach, investing in teams and positively impacting the communities we serve. Joining Target provided an opportunity to do all that, and opening a new store has made that purpose even more rewarding." Q: You've talked about wanting this store to be more than a place to shop. What do you hope it becomes? John: "Our store is not just a place to shop. We see it as a place where neighbors connect, families create memories and team members find opportunities to grow." That commitment is already taking shape. Since store setup began, the Brookings team has volunteered more than 300 hours supporting local schools, nonprofits and community events because making a difference starts long before opening day. Q: What has been the most rewarding part of leading this opening? John: "Without a doubt, it's been watching a group of individuals become a unified team with a shared purpose. Our motto was to hire attitude and train skill. Processes can be taught, but caring for each other and our community comes from within, and this team does that better than any I've ever been a part of in my 35 years in retail." Q: When the doors open, what moment are you looking forward to most? John: "This isn't just Target's new store. It's Brookings' store. If our guests leave saying, 'Those people really care,' then we'll know we've achieved what we set out to do." Welcome to Brookings, Team Target. We can't wait to see the impact this team will make for years to come. #TeamTarget #LifeAtTarget #BrookingsSD

Congratulations to Caitlyn on this exciting milestone as Beauty Studio Market Leader. We are all wishing you continued success as you begin this next chapter with the Bullseye. #TeamTarget #CareerGrowth
Earlier this month I accepted a dream job as Beauty Studio Market Leader, and the dreams keep coming true. Last week I got to go to HQ for training. From getting to see all the Bullseyes, the mock store, and meeting my peers; it was an experience I will never forget. All the gratitude to Jill Vaughn for taking me on this new adventure with her.

Target has been in India for 21 years. The conversation has never been about scale; it's always been about why. That clarity of purpose is what separates Target in India from most #GCC stories. No separate India strategy. No isolated AI initiatives. AI is embedded in the fabric of every product and platform the centre builds, measured not by adoption rates but by traffic, conversion, add-to-cart, and operating cost reduction. The same metrics that have always governed enterprise performance. The operational AI story is concrete: digital twins modelling supply chain scenarios before real-world implementation. In-store AI routing team members through fulfilment like Google Maps, scaling digital order volume without proportional cost growth. A platform built to switch between frontier model providers as capabilities and economics shift. But the sharpest insight is organisational. Leadership in India, not just individual contributors, is what changed how ownership evolved. The talent priority for the AI era: the ability to learn and relearn, not fixed expertise. For GCCs entering their next phase, Zimmerman's question cuts through the noise: what is your strategic intent? The organisations that struggle usually get that answer wrong at the start. #GCC #TargetInIndia #RetailAI #EnterpriseAI #DigitalTransformation #AIStrategy #IndiaGCC #FutureOfWork Srikanth RP | Nivedan Prakash | Aaratrika Talukdar | Atreyee Chakraborty | Sayantan Mondal | Salvi Mittal | Bidhi Rajput | Amit Singh | Nilesh Mungekar | Sanskruti Vispute

One of my favorite parts of sports culture is how quickly fandom creates common ground. No matter the city or event, meeting another Iowa Hawkeyes or Minnesota Timberwolves fan brings an immediate sense of connection. That makes sports a natural place for Target to lean into what makes us special and fuels our growth: bringing style, design and value to moments that matter for our guests, from your kid’s first practice to a superfan’s watch party. I saw that come to life this month at the TIME100 Sports gala and Fanatics Fest, two of the industry's biggest events. We celebrated the athletes and leaders shaping sports culture and gave fans new ways to celebrate the sports and teams they love. Thank you to #TeamTarget and our partners who brought it all to life. We're excited to keep building on this work.

A mentor makes a difference. As Target Intern Week comes to a close, we’re highlighting our final intern story and celebrating the mentors, leaders and teams who helped make this summer meaningful. It's Friday, so let's meet Matthew J., a Distribution Center Intern in Miami, FL. When asked to give a shoutout to someone who made a difference in his summer experience, Matthew recognized his mentor, Safana. As Matthew shared, “[Safana has] always been so approachable and willing to share her knowledge and allowed me to grow independently throughout this journey.” Connections like Matthew’s show how Target internships create space for interns to grow, learn from others and build relationships that support their development beyond a summer experience. Check out Matthew’s video to learn more. Happy Friday, and Happy 2026 Target Intern Week - that's a wrap! #TeamTarget #TargetInterns #LifeAtTarget

Bullseye Builds strengthens communities in Washington, D.C., Camden and Seattle As part of a $1 million investment supporting 13 Bullseye Builds projects nationwide in 2026, our signature community activation, more than 300 Target team members volunteered across Bullseye Builds projects in Washington, D.C., Camden, New Jersey, and Seattle—working alongside local organizations to create more welcoming spaces for the communities they serve. In Washington, D.C., volunteers partnered with Building Bridges Across the River at THEARC Farm, a campus serving more than 60,000 people each year, completing six hands-on projects, including building garden beds, improving pathways, refreshing the farm entrance, painting a mural and assembling nature trail kits for local students. The project also showcased our team's design expertise, with Target Creative providing pro bono custom trail signage to help visitors better explore the farm while supporting the partner's vision for a more welcoming outdoor experience. Bullseye Builds also partnered with Volunteers of America Delaware Valley to help transform the Aletha R. Wright Vision of Hope Center in Camden, New Jersey, and teamed up with Leschi Elementary School in Seattle. Across all three communities, volunteers created murals, wellness and learning spaces, gardens, recreation enhancements, welcome kits, and refreshed community gathering spaces. These enhancements created more vibrant, functional spaces where students, families and neighbors can learn, connect and thrive — reflecting our commitment to local partnerships and community-led solutions so communities grow stronger and create opportunities for everyone. #BullseyeBuilds #CommunityImpact #Volunteerism
