MSG welcomes new President Doug Chenoweth, PE MSG is launching a new chapter under the leadership of Doug Chenoweth, PE. He brings nearly 25 years of experience with a range of large and mid-sized consulting firms. MSG will benefit from his strengths in business strategy, operational efficiency, and energetic leadership style. Doug brings a passion for people and projects. He has accepted a new role as Chief Staff Officer with the Seventh Naval Construction Regiment in Gulfport, MS. Here's a few grilling safety tips for your upcoming cook-outs: - Keep your grill clean by removing grease or fat buildup from the grills and in trays below the grill. - Place the grill well away from the home, deck railings, and out from under eaves and overhanging branches. - Always make sure your gas grill lid is open before lighting it. - Keep children and pets at least three feet away from the grilling area. - Never leave your grill unattended when in use. - When finished grilling, let the coals cool completely before disposing in a metal container. #USA250

Please welcome Michael Koss to MSG! Michael Koss, Senior Project Manager, joins MSG’s Shaker Heights, Ohio, team. Over the past 25 years, Michael has earned a reputation for technical excellence in site assessments, retail petroleum corrective actions, and brownfield revitalization. He helps clients understand and overcome challenging environmental conditions and guides them through cleanup and redevelopment. We are glad to have him join MSG’s Ohio Geoenvironmental Practice, where he will lead a host of environmental projects for our clients. Michael’s commitment to client service, collaborative nature, and keen understanding of technical issues will help MSG’s clients identify opportunities for revitalization and bring projects that spur economic development and community vitality. MSG is grateful to work in partnership with Metroparks Toledo and other project team members to provide construction inspection services for the recent phase of construction of the Glass City Riverwalk. If you have not yet experienced the splendor of the Riverwalk and its transformation of Toledo’s riverfront east and west of the Maumee River, go visit! This is a space you’ve got to see in person to fully appreciate! Metroparks’ broad, bold vision and their sharp attention to detail have reshaped Toledo’s riverfront and, indeed its adjacent neighborhoods. MSG’s role as Construction Engineer included contract administration, construction observation and reporting, pay item, and material tracking. We appreciate the trust Metroparks placed in our team to provide careful oversight as the Riverwalk became a reality. This is our MSG construction inspection team at Glass City Metropark, part of the Glass City Riverwalk: Colin Wantz, CCM, Ed Holtz, Brett Morris (True Inspection Services), Bryant Cosper, and Patrick Kelley.

Community involvement is an important part of who we are at MSG! We're proud to support the Community Pinewood Derby Fundraiser benefiting the Johnny Appleseed Trail District, Buckeye Council, Scouting America, held at The Gorman-Rupp Company in Mansfield, Ohio. MSG team members Brian Besecker and David Rinehart are longtime supporters of this annual event. Elizabeth Lopez was also on hand to cheer on the racers.
