It takes a village to bring the world of Motunui to life. 🌊 Disney Studios employees heard from some of the filmmakers behind 'Moana' — spanning production, visual effects, music, casting, and cultural authenticity — for a look at how the film was made, followed by exclusive screenings and giveaways. Disney's 'Moana' sails into theaters this Friday, July 10.

To celebrate 'Toy Story 5,' Disney and Pixar are bringing the franchise's 30-year legacy to children's hospitals and communities around the world. 🤠🚀✨ ✨ At the world premiere, cast and guests wrote heartfelt messages for children in hospitals. The messages were displayed at immersive children’s hospital events across the country including Washington, D.C., Oakland, and Orlando. ✨ 'Toy Story' characters kicked off the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games Opening Ceremonies in Minneapolis, followed by screenings for over 6,000 athletes and families. ✨ Disney and Blue Star Families celebrated military families at Camp Pendleton with a ‘Toy Story 5’ screening and an unforgettable surprise from CEO Josh D'Amaro, who announced every family would receive Disneyland tickets. The toys reported to work this week. 🤠🚀 Disney and Pixar's 'Toy Story 5' opened to $310M globally — the biggest 'Toy Story' opening ever — and employees in LA and NYC celebrated with Woody, Jessie, Buzz, lunchtime treats, a larger-than-life Lilypad, claaaw machines, and more. Not a bad way to spend a Monday!   'Toy Story 5' is now playing only in theaters.

Before 'Toy Story 5' could be animated, directed, or scored, it had to be storyboarded. Charles Choo, Lead Story Artist, shares how he and his team at Pixar Animation Studios helped bring the film's sequences to life — sketching ideas, pitching to directors, and shaping the film one storyboard at a time. "Focus on growth rather than perfection. Storyboarding by nature is trial and error, but so is pursuing any career or skill or passion in life. You are doing the best you can in that moment and sometimes it may not make the mark, but by putting out your work, you find out the areas you need to improve.
