We had the privilege of being a part of a historic project here in Schererville Indiana. This is the home of Schererville's Founder, Nicholas W. Scherer, who built this home in 1867. The town of Schererville purchased the home back in 2015 and the home is now being renovated as the future location of the Schererville Historical Society. We chose James Hardie Siding to give the best representation of the original look of the home. The windows are from Andersen Corporation Windows and Doors. Thank you to Calumet Restoration and Beauty Guard for their help in this project as well! We get caught up in studying history at the macro level, but local history is so important to the identity of a town, and we're honored to have played a small part in helping to preserve the history of Schererville for future generations. https://lnkd.in/g2j7zmGr
