I recently spent a few days in Washington D.C. with NATSO for their annual Day on the Hill and my first NATSO Board of Directors meeting. It was great to connect with industry leaders from across the country and spend time on Capitol Hill discussing legislation and policy issues that impact travel centers, truck stops, professional drivers, and the traveling public. I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent our industry and help advocate for the issues that matter most to our business and our guests. Thanks to NATSO for bringing everyone together. Looking forward to the work ahead.

Fast, reliable fueling is essential to keeping drivers moving. We are investing in diesel dispenser upgrades across our network to improve speed and performance at every stop. 650 pumps have already been upgraded, with another 700 planned for 2026. As we near the end of Military Appreciation Month, I want to take a moment to thank the veterans and those actively serving across the TravelCenters of America team. Your service, leadership, and commitment continue to make a difference long after the uniform comes off.    I’m especially proud of the work our VETS business resource group is doing to recognize TA service members and veterans by getting appreciation pins out to team members across our locations. It’s a simple gesture, but it comes with a lot of gratitude.    To all who have served and those who are serving, thank you. We’re grateful to have you as part of the TA team.
