Great things happen when dedicated caregivers come together with a shared purpose. Our Solution Acceleration Room brought together physicians and caregivers from multiple departments for a focused, collaborative workgroup to tackle a complex challenge. Through teamwork and innovation, the group has made incredible progress in just a short time — reducing a massive workload to just a small fraction of what it was. This is a great example of the power of collaboration and our caregivers' unwavering dedication to our organization and all those we serve. Thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and made a difference!

A huge thank you to F.W. Madigan Company, Inc. for their partnership and exceptional work on Family Medicine at White City Plaza. Their work has been instrumental in creating a welcoming space for our UMass Memorial Medical Center community.
We recently completed another job for UMass Memorial Health, at their Family Medicine at White City, Shrewsbury location, and we thought you should meet the team behind this successful job. Lee Pappas has been a loyal member of Team Madigan for 7 years as one of our top Project Superintendents. Lee is also a Captain with the Army National Guard and continues to serve our country while helping our clients. Brendan Madigan is a member of our fourth generation of Madigans, working as a Project Manager since 2019. An avid soccer fan, he loved having the World Cup in the U. S. and got to see a few games at Gillette. Jimmy Tibbets helped things run smoothly as our on-site Supervisor, who has been with Madigan since 2023. Jimmy loves to golf in his spare time, and was able to attend the Masters in Augusta this year. Bob Power has been with us since 2021, and is always on hand with his carpenter skills to assist the team. If there’s a tricky problem on site to solve, Bob will figure a solution. Eric Laub has been a member of our field team for nearly a decade, and is a great support to the guys on site. He may not have a lot of free time now with the recent birth of his third daughter! Thanks to Lee, Brendan, Jimmy, Bob, Eric and all our Team Madigan members and trade partners who helped make this job run so smoothly, on time and on budget. We appreciate our continued loyal partnership with UMass Memorial and look forward to working on more projects together.

I recently completed the MIT Sloan AI in Healthcare certification and joined a cohort of AI Ninjas! Thank you, UMass Memorial Health and particularly Eric Dickson, MD and Penelope (Penny) Iannelli, LSSMBB, PMP for giving me this opportunity. AI literacy is of utmost importance in this rapidly evolving healthcare environment. Those of us who choose to learn about AI, question it and understand how to work with it will have an opportunity to influence how it impacts healthcare systems and our patients. Looking forward to implementing what I’ve learned!
