Moving forward has always been at the heart of what we do. As we prepare to move from 1 Premier Drive after 63 years, we took a moment to honor the people, partnerships and memories that have defined our time in Fenton. This week’s farewell event brought together employees, retirees, alumni and friends to reconnect and celebrate the impact made within these walls. Thank you to the Fenton community for your support and partnership throughout the years. We’re proud of our history here and excited for the future ahead.
About us
UniGroup, founded in 1988, is a $1.7 billion transportation company and parent of United Van Lines, the nation’s leading corporate mover, and Mayflower Transit, the most well-known name in the moving industry. Between the two van lines, UniGroup handles one in three professional interstate moves. UniGroup is also the parent company of UniGroup Worldwide, UniGroup Logistics and other transportation related companies including Allegiant Move Management, which is a transportation management company for both corporate and government accounts, and Trans Advantage, which sells and finances rolling stock and sells movers’ supplies. UniGroup, headquartered in suburban St. Louis, is owned exclusively by active agents of United Van Lines and Mayflower Transit, and senior management of the UniGroup companies. In 2018, UniGroup became a Missouri cooperative (co-op) which allows UniGroup to even better serve its agents and customers by providing centralized support functions, products and services, purchasing power, information networks and other benefits through UniGroup where it makes sense.

This Fourth of July, we're reminded how fortunate we've been to spend decades helping people embark on new journeys across this incredible country. For generations, we've had a front-row seat to the landscapes, diverse neighborhoods, and people that make America feel like home. It's a responsibility—and a privilege—that we're proud to carry forward. As we celebrate America's 250th birthday, we're grateful to have played a small part in so many new beginnings. 🇺🇸

That's a wrap on #SHRM26—and what a week it was. As the future of work continues to evolve, mobility remains an important part of helping organizations attract, retain and support top talent. This week, the UniGroup team connected with HR professionals from across the country, exchanged insights on workforce trends and shared how UniGroup, United Van Lines and Mayflower help organizations navigate employee relocation with confidence. From thought-provoking conversations to new partnerships and plenty of custom T-shirts, it was an incredible week for the UniGroup team. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth. We're excited to continue the conversations and connections that started in Orlando.

Meet Bette Malone. In the 1950s, she became the face of moving advice for United Van Lines, helping families navigate packing, planning, and settling into new homes. More than 70 years later, her legacy continues through Ask Betsey, our modern-day moving maven. Happy #NationalMascotDay to the first lady of moving. 💙

Growth happens when we stay curious. Several UniGroup leaders recently attended the AAIM Annual Leadership Conference, gaining fresh insights, practical ideas, and new perspectives alongside leaders from organizations across the region. We believe leadership development is an ongoing investment — in ourselves, our teams, and the future we’re building together.

A Message from our President & CEO, Kevin A. Krakora. As we recognize Armed Forces Day and approach Memorial Day weekend, we pause to honor the courage, sacrifice and dedication of the men and women who have served our country — especially those within the UniGroup family who have worn or continue to wear our nation’s uniform. We are deeply grateful for the commitment of all who serve and we remember with profound respect those who gave their lives in defense of our freedoms. We also hold close the families and loved ones who carry the legacy of that sacrifice every day. This season serves as an important reminder to reflect with gratitude and never forget the bravery shown in service to our country.

At a glance, moving in together looks like a relationship milestone. But the data tells a more complete story. Our 2026 Finding Home Study reveals how factors like cost, logistics, and lifestyle alignment are influencing more couples to close the distance. What’s often framed as an emotional decision is, in many cases, a practical one. That shift underscores a broader truth: today’s moves are driven by both life moments—and lived realities.
