What happens when hackers threaten one of the best cybercrime investigators in the world? They get caught. MIT Technology Review published an in-depth profile of our own Allison Nixon, Chief Research Officer at Unit 221B. When anonymous actors posted violent death threats targeting Allison in 2024, she did what she always does: followed the data and brought them to justice. Over a decade of work. 25+ arrests in collaboration with the FBI. A rare, honest look at what cyber investigations actually take and what it means to pursue accountability even when you become the target. A must-read for anyone in #cybersecurity, #threatintelligence, or #cyberinvestigations #Unit221B Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/ggnzmbdP

☕✨ Coffee + Curls was more than what we had hoped for! The event reached maximum registration capacity within 24 hours and we gathered a room full of brilliant women in fintech, banking, and venture for some good food, great conversation, and complimentary curls. The energy in that suite was something special. We had real meaningful personal, professional and partnership conversations take place before the conference floor even opened! We had laughs over breakfast and everyone who came to the event left with an extra pep in their step, feeling brand new and ready for the day; that was the whole point. Thank you to Amrit Kang and London & Partners, Tiffany Haynes, Sasha Pilch and NYC Fintech Women for being the best partners! Thank you to Natasha Hemmingway for being our control center for this event and Sage Avarda for being out editorial director! Can't wait to do it again! #Vansary #FintechMeetup #NYCFintechWomen #LondonandPartners

As ADT's benefits director Brian Casey put it: "If you have a lot of stress about paying bills... that's just taking away from what you want to do during the day." 💡Financial wellness isn't a perk. It's a retention and productivity strategy. The full article can be found here: https://lnkd.in/edf2qAh6

86% of new U.S. businesses formed in 2025 were LLCs — and banks can't identify most of them. Pam Kaur just published a great piece in Forbes on the growing KYB gap, featuring data from Middesk. The numbers are striking: businesses with no matching state registration on their platform nearly doubled in under three years, and personal TIN usage among business applicants has grown 8x since 2023. As Jackie Wiley of Middesk put it, if your verification layer can't tell a legitimate sole proprietor from a shelf company prepped for fraud, you're not managing risk well, you're just turning away good customers.
