We are proud to be part of such a rewarding collaboration!
We are pleased to share highlights from a special surgical case that took place on 28 May at See-Spital Horgen. On this occasion, Prof. Oliver Prof. Kessler became the first surgeon worldwide to implant a U2 Knee Prosthesis with PSI, using a preoperative plan developed in collaboration with Vent Creativity℠. The procedure was supported by highly precise, patient-specific cutting guides produced by 3D-Side, enabling the surgical plan to be seamlessly translated into the operating theatre. We are proud that United Orthopedic implants formed part of this innovative approach, contributing to an accurate and well-executed procedure. Prof. Kessler expressed his satisfaction with the surgical outcome. #Orthopaedics #KneeSurgery #MedicalInnovation #SurgicalPlanning #PSI #MedicalDevices #OrthopaedicSurgery #UnitedOrthopedic

Orthopedic Driven Imaging and Vent Creativity℠ is a great example of orthopedic synergy; both are great platforms by themselves, however the combination unlocks unmatched possibilities. Come by and see ODI at #AHF2026 this Friday and Saturday in Nashville

Still processing an incredible few days at ESSKA - European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy . I was honored to give the keynote — “AI Revolution in Musculoskeletal Health: Slowly, Then All At Once” — but the real privilege was everything that happened around it. Sitting next to surgeons from a dozen countries, comparing notes on cases, on practice models, on how each of us is thinking about the next ten years of our field. A few things I’m taking home: → The best surgeons in the world are remarkably humble about what they don’t know — and remarkably curious about tools that might help them know it. → The cultural differences in how we practice are bigger than I expected. The clinical instincts are not. → AI in our field will succeed or fail based on whether it earns the trust of people like the ones in that room. To the ESSKA leadership and faculty — thank you for the hospitality, the candor, and for letting me learn alongside you. Thank you to Thomas Tischer Raghbir Khakha Kristian Samuelsson for allowing me to provide my perspecrive. Thanks to Matthieu Ollivier for always teaching me about the knee, and Joaquin Sanchez-Sotelo and Aaron Krych for their mentorship! Thanks to many people who are building amazing things at the intersection of AI and musculoskeletal health (EverEx USA Alex Yoon, Gokce (Gilly) Yildirim Vent Creativity℠, Thomas Knox VitVio, nicholas colyvas MD, FAAOS Convergence Medical, Du Hyun Ro 코넥티브(CONNECTEVE), Roman Stolyarov, PhD) And finally the amazing team at Hospital for Special Surgery innovating in healtchcare across the whole patient journey! Vent Creativity is proud to announce the first Total Knee Arthroplasty case planned for Oliver Prof. Kessler in Switzerland with United Orthopedic Corporation implants. The navigated case was planned using Vent's cutting edge digital twin software as a patient specific plan. Dr. Kessler had the following remarks: "My first case implanting a United TKA by using the Vent planning software went very well. The accuracy was incredible. I checked all the cuts with the Navigation System and measured the resected bone. We achieved an accuracy better than 0.5mm and 0.5° compared to the plan. The outcome was a completely stable knee over the entire range of motion (0°-125°)."

Our latest gait analysis models based on the patient CT scans. The model takes material properties and drives the motion for patient specific solutions. The model can determine areas of pain, instability, and best course of action for intervention utilizing the Vent Minerva. The video shows walking gait cycle for this patient. Any other activity for any patient can be derived in minutes to assess the existing and desired solutions. https://lnkd.in/dr8wb8ug
