Last Friday, we took the stage at The Migrant Accelerator Demo Day in Leipzig, and it was a moment I will not forget.
Standing in front of an audience that listened, engaged, and genuinely believed in what we are building with VERASPECTA AI was something special. The reaction to our pitch and solution reminded me why we started this in the first place, and that the problem we are solving is real, visible, and worth fighting for.
None of this would have happened without the TMA program. The workshops sharpened how we think. The mentors challenged us in the right ways. And the team behind it all, Shamila Borchers, Nahid Farzana, Bartosz Kajdas, Laila Zohaib, Yannic Häberer and Antonia Sofie Bachmann, created something rare: a space where founders with migrant backgrounds feel genuinely supported, seen, and prepared.
To my team, this journey has been anything but easy, and I could not have built it with better people by my side. Every late night, every iteration, every moment of doubt and excitement, we carried it together. Seeing you there on Demo Day, standing behind what we have built, meant more than I can put into words. Arian Mostashari & Nilufar Ashena, thank you for everything. And Khaldoun Ayoubi, you could not be there in person, but your contribution to getting us to that stage was just as present as any of us.
To the fellow founders who pitched alongside us, Surbhi Agrawal, Niki Sze, Abhishek Arora, Monisha Macharla Vasu, Sophie Elisabeth Augello, Undral G., James Donahue,Ani Tovmasyan and Mansoureh Tajaddod, PhD. Your stories, your courage, and the quality of your ideas made this journey richer. It was a privilege to share that stage with you all.
We started this to solve a problem the industry had accepted for too long. This Demo Day reminded us why. The journey is far from over, and we are just getting started. ✨
