Dr. Yalin Zheng from the University of Liverpool recently visited Vanderbilt University to strengthen the Vanderbilt–Liverpool Eye-AI Working Group collaboration! During his visit, he met with researchers from VU and VUMC, including VISE faculty members Dr. Yuankai Huo and Dr. Bennett Landman. I'm excited to share that our lab has been awarded a five-year NIH R01 grant — a major milestone for our research program! With this support, we will develop a next-generation robotic smart airway stent capable of continuously monitoring #airway conditions in patients with central airway obstruction in #lung #cancer and other airway diseases.
