About us

Warby Parker was founded with a mission: to inspire and impact the world with vision, purpose, and style. We’re constantly asking ourselves how we can do more and make a greater impact—and that starts by reimagining everything that a company and industry can be. We want to demonstrate that a business can scale, be profitable, and do good in the world—without charging a premium for it. And we’ve learned that it takes creativity, empathy, and innovation to achieve that goal. Glasses, sunglasses, contacts, and eye exams—we’ve got your eyes covered. Shop prescription eyewear starting at $95 online or find a store near you at warbyparker.com Ultimately, we believe in vision for all, which is why for every pair of glasses or sunglasses we sell, a pair of glasses is distributed to someone in need through our Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program. As of 2020, over eight million pairs have been distributed—and we’re only just getting started. Learn more at warbyparker.com/buy-a-pair-give-a-pair. • Today at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked, we unveiled the second frame in our upcoming Intelligent Eyewear collection. Inspired by one of our bestselling styles, this classic, easy-to-wear silhouette reflects our belief that great technology should begin with great design. Together with Google and Samsung Mobile, we're reimagining what a pair of glasses can do—without compromising the design, comfort, and craftsmanship people expect from us. Our full Intelligent Eyewear collection is launching this fall. We can’t wait to share more soon.

I’ve always believed that for a social mission to be effective, it can’t just live on a website or in an annual report. It has to be a deliberate part of your brand identity and company culture. At Warby Parker, we work hard to keep our team connected to our mission of vision for all – we regularly highlight milestones from our Buy a Pair, Give a Pair and Pupils Project programs, share stories of people served through both programs, and spotlight our nonprofit partners and how we work together. We also arrange for full-time employees celebrating 7 years with the company to participate in a “Do Good” trip. Our Do Good trip is an international trip that allows employees to see our Buy a Pair, Give a Pair program in action. While there, #TeamWarby assists our partners with performing vision screenings and dispensing glasses in local communities where there’s need. This year, we sent four cohorts of team members to Guatemala to work alongside our partners on the ground. It’s a powerful experience that moves our mission from a theoretical "why" to a tangible "how". Over the years, these trips have taught me a few things about the intersection of team culture and social impact: - Mission is the ultimate motivator: When a team is directly connected to the "why" behind their work, they collaborate better, deliver more innovation and work harder. - Connection requires intentionality: As we’ve grown to over 4,000 team members, we’ve learned that a unified culture doesn't happen by accident. It requires creating space for shared experiences and real human connection. - Give back to those who give their all: Recognizing long-term commitment isn't just about a milestone; it’s about reinvesting in the people who have helped build this brand from the ground up. A huge thank you to our most recent travelers for their seven years (and counting!) of dedication. I’m constantly inspired by your passion for doing good and your commitment to providing vision for all. And, a big thank you to our partners, especially Social Entrepreneur Corps and Greg Van Kirk.

  • Our retail fleet is growing! 🏢✨ We've been busy opening stores across the country and recently celebrated two major milestones: • Opening our 350th store at Doral Marketplace in Doral, Florida. • Opening our very first location in Delaware at Christiana Mall in Newark. Reaching these milestones is a powerful testament to the hard work of #TeamWarby and the amazing support of our customers.

This week, we hosted another Warby Parker Speaker Series at our NYC headquarters, featuring one of our longtime partners, Dr. Megan Collins. Megan is a world-renowned pediatric ophthalmologist, founder and executive director of the Johns Hopkins Center for School Health, and Warby Parker Impact Foundation board member. Megan was also instrumental in starting Vision for Baltimore, one of our Pupils Project programs. Through Pupils Project, we partner with local organizations and government agencies to provide free vision screenings, eye exams, and glasses to schoolchildren across the country. Megan sat down with our co-founder and co-CEO, Neil Blumenthal, for a conversation about her career, community health systems, and health equity. A few highlights from the discussion: • We explored the critical intersection of healthcare and education, and how Megan's landmark research with Johns Hopkins showed that providing a student with a pair of glasses is the academic equivalent of adding 2 to 4 months of learning to the school year. • We discussed why agency is essential to clinical success, noting that giving students the freedom to choose their own glasses through Pupils Project builds genuine excitement to wear them. • Megan emphasized the "three P's"—partnerships, persistence, and product—as the core operational principles needed to maintain high fidelity and trust when scaling impactful programs into new communities. A big thank you to Megan for sharing her time, wisdom, and partnership with #TeamWarby!

Glasses are the most personal technology we use: they help us see the world more clearly and are the very first thing people notice about us. Today, we’re taking a massive leap forward in what glasses can do. Alongside our partners at Google and Samsung Mobile, we are officially unveiling our first Intelligent Eyewear frame. As we entered this new category, our challenge was clear: how do we integrate advanced technology that enhances our understanding of the world, without compromising what makes glasses great? For us, that meant combining beautiful design with uncompromising standards on the fundamentals: precision optics, exceptional comfort, and a fit designed for all-day, everyday wear. This debut frame is the result of thousands of hours of engineering and design. We’ve managed to house incredible capabilities within a silhouette that feels like a classic pair of Warby Parker frames. We’re just getting started on shaping the future of this category. We'll be launching our first line of Intelligent Eyewear this fall, and I couldn’t be more proud of #TeamWarby for continuing to lead the way in redefining the eyewear industry and expanding upon our mission of vision for all.
