Recently, our Construction Managers and Warranty Managers spent the day volunteering at Akron Rotary Camp for Children with Special Needs, using the skills they put to work every day to help make repairs around camp. Their efforts helped support an incredible organization that creates unforgettable experiences for children with special needs in our community. We’re grateful for a team that’s always ready to use their talents to make a difference — both on the job and beyond.

A day of volunteering is a reminder that when a team comes together, the impact can go a long way. Recently, Wayne Homes team members spent the day volunteering at Akron Rotary Camp, helping prepare for this summer’s campers to arrive. It's rewarding to know the spaces they helped prepare are now being enjoyed by campers as they make memories, build friendships, and try new experiences. Community involvement is an important part of who we are at Wayne Homes. Through our Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) program, every employee receives two paid volunteer days each year to support causes and organizations in our local communities. We’re grateful for our ongoing partnership with Akron Rotary Camp and for the opportunity to support the important work they’re doing for children and families with special needs.
