Bay FC and Pacific Gas and Electric Company teamed up to join Golden Gate Bird Alliance for a day of cleanup at Arrowhead Marsh in Oakland! Players, staff, and employees from spent the afternoon cleaning up the shoreline habitat that supports the endangered Ridgway’s Rail and other waterfront bird species. We also had the opportunity to learn more about the local wildlife and natural spaces that make the Bay Area such a remarkable place to call home. Partnership is about more than what happens on matchday. It is about showing up for our community, working alongside organizations that share our values, and taking meaningful action to help protect the places and people that connect us. Thank you to PG&E, the Golden Gate Bird Alliance, and every volunteer who joined us in caring for the Bay Area.

One team, one dream and the final signed beam! Today, #BayFC staff joined players at training and signed the final structural beam to be put in place on Thursday, June 25th at our new state-of-the-art Performance Center on Treasure Island. Marking the placement of the final structural beam and completion of the Performance Center’s primary framework, the milestone represents a significant step toward the opening of what will become the first women-specific training facility for a professional sports team in the Bay Area.
