Take open source 5G beyond terrestrial networks with OCUDU! The project now supports 3GPP Release 17 Non-Terrestrial Networks, including automatic satellite ephemeris generation for SIB19, helping developers explore practical satellite connectivity using open source RAN technology. A new hands-on tutorial walks through how to configure, run, and test a standalone 5G NR NTN deployment using OCUDU, an Amarisoft UE, and the Open5GS core. Explore: 🔹 GEO, MEO, and LEO support 🔹 Realistic GEO and LEO testing scenarios 🔹 Satellite delay and Doppler-shift compensation 🔹 Automatic ephemeris generation and live SIB19 updates 🔹 GNU Radio and Amarisoft channel-emulation options 🔹 End-to-end connectivity and performance testing This is another important step toward making advanced 5G and future 6G capabilities more accessible to developers, researchers, and the broader open wireless ecosystem. Explore the tutorial: https://lnkd.in/ebEMxKRD Thank you to the SRS team for helping bring these capabilities to the OCUDU community!

A wonderful way to commemorate National Moon Day today – excited for what’s to come! We’re proud to continue supporting NASA’s lunar missions. https://lnkd.in/gEfKEnvQ
We're going back. On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans to walk on the Moon. Now, we're building a Moon Base to establish humanity's first outpost on the lunar surface. Our NASA Artemis missions will send humans to the Moon to live, work, and explore as we prepare to journey onward to Mars. Join us for our next giant leap.
