Strengthening QCC for P86 📘 Continuous improvement begins with learning, collaboration, and alignment. 🚀 As part of the preparation for P86, the Central Quality team conducted Quality Control Circle (QCC) Methodology training sessions across the Southwest and Northwest regions, bringing together participants from multiple facilities to strengthen technical knowledge and promote a consistent approach to quality improvement. Through detailed design reviews, teardown activities, wire tuning, and manufacturing process assessments, the team identified opportunities to optimize performance, efficiency, and product competitiveness. Building Future Engineering Talent Through University-Industry Collaboration 🚗🎓 At Yazaki, we believe that strong collaboration between industry and academia plays a vital role in preparing the next generation of engineers for real-world challenges. Through a 16-week partnership with Universidad de La Sabana in Colombia, students gained valuable exposure to automotive engineering through technical sessions, hands-on learning experiences, facility visits, and team-based problem-solving projects guided by Yazaki experts and university faculty. As Michael Boyd, program leader, shared: "The program’s success was made possible through the dedication of a cross-functional team of Yazaki engineers and support staff who volunteered their time to develop course content, teach classroom sessions, coordinate activities, and mentor students throughout the experience. Their collective efforts provided students with valuable insight into the automotive industry and the opportunities available within Yazaki."
