Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager | Chicago (Hybrid)

We are partnering with a growing, private equity-backed professional services company on a high-impact Accounting Manager opportunity.

This isn't a traditional "keep the books moving" accounting role. You'll work directly with senior finance leadership, own meaningful pieces of the close and reporting process, prepare executive and investor reporting, oversee an offshore accounting team, and help improve how the finance organization operates as the company continues to grow.

They are looking for someone who enjoys understanding the story behind the numbers—not just producing them.

What we're looking for:

• Strong accounting foundation (public accounting is highly attractive)

• Advanced Excel skills—you genuinely enjoy working with data

• Experience owning month-end close and financial reporting

• Analytical mindset with the ability to explain variances and trends

• Experience leading or reviewing the work of others

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
