As ZAGG's Affiliate Manager - you will own affiliate programs across both the ZAGG and mophie lines of product. The mophie affiliate program is being built from the ground up. The ZAGG program is established and needs to be elevated. This person does both simultaneously, in partnership with an affiliate agency, and is accountable to margin-accretive growth across every partner relationship.
This is not a program administration role. The right candidate understands that not every affiliate partner deserves investment, that commission structures should be evaluated against contribution margin, and that a loyalty partner and a mass coupon site are fundamentally different things with different implications for brand health and profitability. They build toward quality, not volume.
What You Will Do
Program Management
Own the day-to-day management of affiliate programs for mophie and ZAGG across all active networks, including CJ Affiliate, Rakuten, and others.
Build the mophie affiliate program from the ground up: define the partner strategy, commission structure, network selection, and go-to-market approach.
Elevate ZAGG’s existing affiliate program through partner quality audits, commission restructuring, and activation of high-value relationships.
Manage the affiliate agency relationship: set direction, review deliverables, hold the agency accountable to performance standards, and escalate when work does not meet expectations.
Partner Recruitment & Relationship Management
Recruit, onboard, and activate affiliate and publisher partners aligned with mophie and ZAGG’s target audiences and brand standards.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, influencers, and content creators. Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries, negotiations, and ongoing communication.
Evaluate partners with a clear framework: loyalty and content partners are not the same as coupon and cashback sites, and commission investment should reflect that distinction.
Continuously audit the partner roster. Underperforming or off-brand partners get cut.
Commission & Incentive Strategy
Manage commission structures, bonuses, and promotional incentives to motivate high-quality partners and drive incremental, margin-accretive conversions.
Evaluate and adjust payout models regularly against contribution margin, not just ROAS or EPC. A partner that drives volume at low margin is not a good partner.
Partner with Finance and the Sr. Director of Performance Marketing to ensure affiliate economics are always tied to the broader channel P&L.
Audit the program regularly to ensure commissions are not being paid on non-commissionable products, and correct discrepancies quickly.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
Monitor and report on key program metrics including revenue, contribution margin, ROAS, conversion rate, EPC, and new customer rate across both brands.
Identify trends, underperforming partners, and optimization opportunities. Bring data-driven recommendations without waiting to be asked.
Build and maintain reporting cadences that give the Sr. Director of Performance Marketing clear, accurate visibility into program health without noise or spin.
Campaign & Promotional Execution
Collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising to align affiliate promotions with brand campaigns, product launches, and seasonal moments.
Provide partners with timely creative assets, product feeds, and promotional copy that reflect current brand standards.
Maintain the affiliate portal with accurate assets, offers, and program documentation.
Compliance & Brand Integrity
Ensure all affiliate activity adheres to brand guidelines, FTC disclosure requirements, and program terms.
Monitor actively for coupon misuse, trademark bidding violations, and fraudulent activity. Address issues quickly and directly.
Protect brand equity. An affiliate partner operating outside program terms is a liability, not an asset.
Experience
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
3 to 5 years of experience in affiliate marketing or performance marketing, with demonstrated ownership of an affiliate program, not just execution support.
Hands-on experience with affiliate networks and platforms including CJ Affiliate, Rakuten, and Impact.
Experience managing an agency relationship in an affiliate context: setting direction, reviewing work, and holding partners accountable to results.
Proficiency in web analytics tools including GA4, with the ability to interpret performance data and build a margin-aware view of program contribution.
Background in consumer electronics, mobile accessories, or direct-to-consumer retail is a strong plus.
Skills & Capabilities
Affiliate marketing fluency: you understand the difference between partner types and how commission strategy affects both performance and brand health.
Financial literacy: you evaluate affiliate partners against contribution margin, not just clicks and conversions.
Organizational rigor: you manage multiple partner relationships simultaneously without losing track of performance, compliance, or communication.
Strong written communication: your partner briefs are clear, your reporting is honest, and your escalations are direct.
Agency management: you know how to get the best out of an agency partner without letting them set the agenda.
The Intangibles
You are curious about what drives affiliate performance and not satisfied with “it is just how the network works.”
You take ownership. If a partner is underperforming, you flag it, diagnose it, and fix it.
You protect margin instinctively. You know that volume without profitability is not a win.
You want to build something. The mophie program is early stage and you are energized by that, not intimidated by it.
You match the pace of a high-intensity team and raise the quality of every partner conversation you are in.
