Applications Engineer – Houston, Texas - Up to $100,000

Responsibilities

• You will support the successful deployment of sensing solutions for critical infrastructure, across the Americas while working closely with customers, partners, and internal teams
• Manage the full lifecycle of projects, from site surveys and system configuration through commissioning, customer acceptance, training, and post-deployment support
• Configure and integrate sensing systems into customer environments, including network connectivity and field implementation
• Deliver technical guidance throughout project execution to ensure successful installation and reliable system performance
• Partner with the sales organization and channel partners to assess customer requirements and develop tailored solutions
• Travel extensively throughout the US, Canada, Central America, and South America to support customer sites and project activities (60%)

Desired Skills and Experience

• Completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar
• 2+ years of professional experience working with the Optics, Control Systems, or Sensing Instrumentation industry, as an Applications Engineer
• Experience with SCADA systems and interfaces
• Willingness to travel internationally throughout the Americas
• Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory
• US Citizenship is mandatory
