Due to an unprecedented surge in client demand, they are expanding their team and seeking a talented Civil Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience who is eager to learn and dominate the Insurance Coverage space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a robust caseload of civil litigation and insurance defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft complex legal documents, including persuasive motions, demurrers, pleadings, and discovery requests/responses.
• Analyze insurance policies, draft comprehensive coverage opinions, and provide strategic legal guidance regarding bad faith risk.
• Conduct legal research on sophisticated, evolving issues in insurance law.
• Represent clients confidently during depositions, court appearances, and mediations.
• Collaborate closely with a specialized team of partners and defense specialists to protect client interests.

Candidate Qualifications:

• 5+ years of strong civil litigation experience (Active CA Bar license in good standing is required).
• Proven background in drafting substantial motions, demurrers, and handling core litigation mechanics.
• Must be genuinely open and motivated to learn Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith defense under top-tier mentorship.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines independently in a remote environment.
• Please Note: This role focuses strictly on sophisticated commercial defense. Candidates with backgrounds exclusively limited to Family Law, Personal Injury, or Bankruptcy will not be considered.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 - $250,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
