We're hiring STNAs, CNAs, Medical Assistants, Home Health Aides, experienced DSPs, and caregivers to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities while helping them live meaningful, fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities: To be successful as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you should have a passion for helping others and demonstrate compassion, patience, and empathy in your daily interactions including:
Participating in community outings and activities, including concerts, movies, swimming, shopping, and other recreational events
Building positive relationships with individuals and their families
Supporting daily routines and meaningful life experiences
Assisting with dressing and grooming
Meal preparation and feeding assistance
Providing toileting and personal hygiene support
Assisting with bathing and showering
Administering medications as trained and authorized
Providing companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
Assisting with repositioning and mobility needs
Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including laundry, changing linens, kitchen upkeep, and general housekeeping
Completing documentation and other assigned duties as needed
Requirements
Prior direct care, caregiving, and DSP experience preferred, but not required
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record
Proof of auto insurance
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical examination, and physical therapy assessment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
