Dispatcher

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Dispatcher to support daily operations at our Paramount, CA office. The Dispatcher will coordinate schedules, communicate with drivers and customers, monitor routes, help with permits as needed and ensure timely service execution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can multitask effectively, and maintains strong communication under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers for scheduled jobs and deliveries
• Monitor routes, schedules, and load progress throughout the day
• Communicate with customers regarding ETAs, delays, and service updates
• Assist with oversize and overweight permit coordination as needed
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and service requests professionally
• Work closely with operations manager and management to resolve scheduling issues
• Assist with administrative tasks and operational support as needed

Qualifications

• Previous dispatching, logistics, or transportation experience
• Heavy haul and/or oversize load experience preferred
• Familiarity with oversize and overweight permits is a plus
• Experience with TMS software, Microsoft Excel, and Smartsheet is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: $60,000–$85,000, depending on experience
