Fund Accountant - Hedge Fund Platform

OCR is partnered with a fast-growing hedge fund platform looking to hire a Fund Accountant as part of its continued expansion.

Working closely with the Accounting, Operations, and Investment teams, as well as the external fund administrator, you'll play a key role in the month-end close process, regulatory reporting, and financial reporting, gaining broad exposure across the fund finance function.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the month-end close process and prepare general ledger reconciliations.
• Calculate and validate management and incentive fees.
• Perform shadow accounting and oversee the application of fund fee structures.
• Reconcile positions and balances across multiple counterparties and asset classes.
• Support the firm's internal control framework and prepare documentation for the annual audit.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Several years' fund accounting experience within the buy-side.
• A strong understanding of US GAAP.
• A proactive approach to improving and automating existing processes.
