Legrand’s Data, Power & Control (DPC) division is experiencing rapid global growth, driven by the continued expansion of data-center infrastructure. To support this growth, DPC has established a dedicated Operations Excellence & Modernization team focused on capacity expansion, manufacturing transformation, footprint optimization, and sustained operational performance across its global manufacturing network.

We are seeking a transformation leader to join this team and play a critical role in shaping and executing high-impact operational initiatives across multiple international sites. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations Excellence & Modernization, this individual will own the global manufacturing improvement roadmap and translate DPC’s strategic priorities into actionable short- and long-term initiatives.

This position is designed for a hands-on transformation leader with deep shop-floor credibility and a strong ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels. The ideal candidate must be able to quickly integrate into manufacturing sites, assess operational needs, align diverse teams, and accelerate execution during periods of rapid growth, organizational change, capacity constraints, or operational stress.

This is a remote position with up to approximately 50% travel and offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening DPC’s global operational network.

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously develop the global manufacturing improvement roadmap, aligning priorities with DPC’s growth strategy and business objectives.
  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable short and long-term initiatives with clear deliverables, resources, timelines, and performance targets.
  • Lead and coordinate a high-performing transformation team focused on productivity, capacity, safety, quality, cost, and delivery improvements.
  • Drive complex, cross-functional transformation programs from initial assessment and business case development through implementation and benefits realization.
  • Partner with site and functional leaders to identify operational gaps, establish priorities, remove execution barriers, and accelerate results.
  • Establish effective program governance, performance metrics, and review processes to ensure accountability and sustained execution.
  • Support manufacturing sites during periods of rapid growth, capacity expansion, organizational change, or operational performance challenges.
  • Standardize and scale successful practices, technologies, and operating models across DPC’s global manufacturing network.
  • Facilitate and lead Kaizen events, 3P workshops, value stream mapping sessions, and rapid improvement activities

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Operations Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • MBA or master’s degree in operations, Supply Chain, or Industrial Management preferred

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations engineering, or transformation roles
  • Proven experience leading manufacturing transformation initiatives
  • Strong exposure to production systems and tools including ERP systems
  • Experience supporting capacity expansion, footprint strategy, or work transfer programs is highly desirable Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Solid engineering and operations background, with the credibility to engage directly on the factory floor
  • Deep knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, and daily management systems
  • Proven change leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at every level of the organization
  • Ability to translate complex topics into clear, concise executive communications
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Structured thinker who can address both strategic and operational challenges
  • Ability to work remotely and travel up to 50% of the time
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally as required

Compensation & Benefits: $160,000 - $170,000 plus bonus
