At Kdc/one Columbus, we’re proud to be part of a global network producing top-tier beauty and personal care products. Our site is growing fast, and we’re looking for a detail-oriented Incoming Quality Inspector to help us maintain the high standards our customers expect.
What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll be ensuring that every component and label entering our facility meets strict quality standards. Your work helps keep our production smooth, our customers happy, and our reputation strong.
Responsibilities include:
Inspect incoming components using certified tools and ANSI/ASQC standards.
Receive and inspect labels in SAP using scanning software and customer specs.
Record and scan inspection results into the appropriate database.
Perform form, fit, and function testing on new components.
Manage SAP transactions to contain or release components and labels.
Maintain and create inspection standards for components and labels.
Communicate quality alerts and issues to management and team members.
Place non-conforming items on hold and assist in troubleshooting.
Conduct AQL inspections when needed.
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers on quality concerns.
Ensure compliance with FDA GMPs and company quality systems.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for inspection.
Follow and promote kdc/one’s safety and environmental policies.
Complete all required documentation and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
Support overtime and additional duties as needed.
What We Need from You:
High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality inspection or a technical/mechanical field.
Strong math skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with SAP and inspection tools is a plus.
