The Maintenance Technician at Leading Technology Composites is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery. This includes troubleshooting electrical systems, repairing or replacing faulty components, and performing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an industrial setting and possess strong electrical skills.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery
Troubleshoot electrical systems and repair or replace faulty components
Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of equipment
Document maintenance and repair activities in a computerized maintenance management system
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Applicants are required to be able to work 40 hours/ wk plus overtime, sometimes with little to no notice
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Maintenance experience in an industrial setting
Strong electrical skills
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Hourly position
Physical Requirements:
Able to crawl, kneel, stand, walk, etc. all day on concrete floors
Must have current/valid driver’s license
Must have their own reliable transportation to work
Comfortable with heights (30 feet average)
Comfortable working in confined spaces
Able to work on ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc
Hand and Finger dexterity
Visual Acuity
Ability to lift and carry materials of various weights and sizes
Ability to bend, stoop, twist, turn, reach overhead, crawl, and climb.
Must be able to work for extended periods of time in a noisy area with limited climate control.
Regular shift hours are:
First Shift - 6 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, 6 AM to 10 AM on Friday.
First Shift - 7 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, 7 AM to 11 AM on Friday.
