$163,400.00/yr - $217,900.00/yr
For our client, we are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Director to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Business Services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $163,400 – $217,900 annually

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a cohesive global framework for process standardization across international manufacturing sites
  • Execute global Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify waste and manage a high-ROI lean project pipeline
  • Cultivate a Kaizen culture through Lean Six Sigma methodologies while promoting continuous improvement
  • Identify opportunities for automation and partner with data science teams for predictive maintenance and yield optimization
  • Enforce safety protocols and develop component traceability frameworks to satisfy audit requirements

Qualifications

  • 10-15+ years of senior leadership experience in High-Variation/High-Mix manufacturing environments, preferably Tier 1 Contract Electronics Manufacturing
  • Expert-level knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, with a strong focus on automation
  • Experience with Collaborative Robots (Cobots) and machine learning sensors to enhance manufacturing processes
  • Demonstrated success in managing remote teams across global locations (EMEA, AMER, APAC)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; an MBA or advanced Operations Management degree is a plus
