- Launching rockets into space
- Delivering Nexus of Clean™ solutions for clean water, clean power, clean food, and clean industrials
- Powering the carbonation in your favorite fast-food beverage
- Making nitro coffee and even nitro ice cream possible
What Will You Do?
- Develop & document new tooling and processes that promote safe working practices and meet businessrequirements.
- Create/Update BoMs, Engineering Drawings, Work Instructions & other engineering-related documentation asrequired.
- Re-Engineer existing processes using Lean principles to eliminate waste and reduce lead times.
- Use data to resolve complicated process problems, systematically, via root cause analysis and theimplementation of effective solutions.
- Assist in the implementation of capital investment and continuous improvement projects that provide customervalue.
- Participate in cross functional groups to implement new products and processes.
Minimum Requirements
Your Experience Should Be...
- BS in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3 years of experience engineering the machining & assembly of mechanical products in a manufacturingenvironment.
- A strong mechanical aptitude. A ‘hands-on’ person with a passion for process improvement.
- Working knowledge of 3D modeling software required,
- Experience working with ERP software; I.e., setting up Bills of Material and Routes/Methods.
- The candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills.
- A positive ‘Safety First’ attitude with the ability to interact effectively and partner with people at all levels;extremely skilled at developing and working with and through teams; a collaborative hands-on team player, resultsdriven and motivated
- Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies; Lean/Six-Sigma certification preferred.
- SolidWorks proficiency.
- Proficient with various inspection techniques (automated & manual), tooling, and methodologies.
- 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing & assembly of mechanical products.
- The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in the optimization of machining & assembly processes.
