To complete data input as needed and cover terminal administrative office personnel and dispatcher positions.
This position is not on a standard shift. The successful candidate must be able to work flexible hours on a day-by-day basis.
What You Will Do
Provide administrative support for the terminal including receptionist and clerical tasks.
Process terminal mail and shipments
Process rail car data quickly and accurately immediately after rail car loading/unloading and enter data in rail road web based link
Utilize the following software packages: Dossier, G2, Galahad, Lawson, Merlin Bulk, Microsoft Office products, and provide reports as requested
Work in the scale house weighing trucks in/out of the terminal
Complete scale related shipping bills and paperwork and input information into the computer
Other duties as assigned
Education
What You Need
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Qualifications
1-3 years of administrative office experience, including data entry and Microsoft Word
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
Prior coursework and/or experience in data entry preferred.
Proven ability to quickly learn new software programs.
Able to efficiently complete data entry into multiple software programs, moving quickly from one program to another.
Must be accountable, keep required work schedule, focus attention on details, and follow work and safety rules by adhering to Kinder Morgan's Core Principles, Policies, and SQE Culture.
Ability to interpret directions and/or instructions both written and oral.
Accept direction/supervision and have the ability to complete projects with minimal supervision.
Work cooperatively with internal and external customers.

Working Conditions
Must be capable of sitting/standing for extended periods of time.
Must be capable of occasional lifting and carrying of up to 30 lbs.
Must have manual/mental dexterity to operate office equipment including, but not limited to, telephones, 2-way radios, calculators and computers.
