Operations Supervisor – Dedicated Distribution Operation

We're looking for a hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead daily warehouse and distribution activities supporting a dedicated strategic customer. This role is responsible for keeping freight moving efficiently—from receiving inbound trailers to building shipments and ensuring product reaches more than 300 retail stores across multiple markets.

The job:

• Lead and support a team of warehouse associates in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Oversee inbound receiving of cartonized freight from trailers.
• Coordinate order fulfillment and pallet-building for store shipments.
• Ensure outbound trailers are loaded accurately and shipped on schedule.
• Help drive on-time deliveries to retail locations across multiple markets.
• Monitor productivity, safety, quality, and service performance.
• Train, coach, and develop team members while promoting a positive work environment.
• Partner with customer, transportation, and operations teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, transportation, or logistics operations.
• Experience supervising hourly employees in a high-volume environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Working knowledge of WMS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
