Supports production and delivery schedule by offering consistent,

accurate and reliable fabrication of injection molded parts according to

cycle time. This is achieved by reviewing associated documentation prior

to starting a job, periodically verifying parts to confirm they are

defect free, collaborating with Quality Assurance personnel, and making

adjustments to machine as needed.

**Essential Functions**

• Operate various plastic injection molding & assembly machines
• Ensure mold and equipment is set up correctly and functioning
  
  

properly

• Process the components that are being molded
• Read & understand the MIM book (Master Information Manual) for the
  
  

work instructions and quality requirements

• Process the parts which may include removing the gate & trimming
  
  

flash using gate cutters and/or a trimming knife along with other

required tasks

• Inspect the part closely to identify and segregate cosmetic defects,
  
  

ensuring it meets the quality requirements

• Use gauges and measuring equipment as required
• Assembling the components as required
• Pack the product as required
• Run one or more machines as required
• Complete all required paperwork timely and completely
• Maintain an organized and clean work area throughout the shift

• Report all safety, quality & machine issues to supervision in a
  
  

timely manner

• Follow all procedures, rules and work duties in a safe manner
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Perform other duties as required
