The Outreach Coordinator will play a key role in growing Embracify’s impact by connecting with schools, organizations, guest speakers, and students, and helping us promote events and initiatives across digital platforms. This is a great position for a student who enjoys talking to people, organizing events, and using social media to spread meaningful opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate virtual events, including communication with panelists and guest speakers (e.g., emailing, scheduling, sharing event details).
  • Help organize and potentially host events such as webinars, workshops, and student-focused panels.
  • Strategically conduct outreach to schools, clubs, organizations, and individuals, including cold emailing and messages to potential partners or speakers.
  • Promote Embracify events, chapters, and initiatives across social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok), with support from the team.
  • Maintain simple outreach tracking (lists of contacts, responses, follow-ups) so we know who we’ve reached out to and what’s next.
  • Collaborate with Embracify team members to brainstorm new outreach ideas and ways to reach more students.
Requirements
  • Preferred: high school students or early college students, though applicants of any age are welcome
  • Comfortable communicating with new people via email, DM, and virtual calls
  • Interest in communication, public speaking, youth leadership, mental health, or community building
  • Basic familiarity with social media platforms and willingness to learn simple outreach tools
  • Responsible and reliable, with the ability to follow through on tasks, respond to messages, and meet agreed-upon timelines
  • Able to work collaboratively in a youth-led environment and open to feedback and growth
Nice-to-Have (Optional)
  • Experience participating in clubs like debate, journalism, theater, student council, or other leadership roles.
  • Prior experience helping organize school events, online meetups, or student activities.
  • Comfort speaking or hosting in front of small groups online.
