Seeking a skilled Paint Finishing / Cut & Buff Technician to perform final surface correction on freshly painted automotive panels. This role focuses on delivering glass-smooth, show-quality finishes on high-end vintage vehicles before final assembly.
Key Responsibilities
Wet sanding, cutting, and buffing painted panels
Remove orange peel, dust nibs, runs, and paint defects
Restore full gloss, clarity, and depth
Perform final surface inspection before release
Maintain polishing tools, pads, and compounds
Keep workspace clean and contamination-free
Requirements
3+ years automotive paint finishing, detailing, or cut & buff
Experience with paint correction and multi-stage polishing
Rotary and DA polisher experience
Knowledge of clear coat and safe material removal
Strong attention to detail (show-quality standards)
Work Environment
Climate-controlled paint facility
Professional inspection lighting
High-end tools and finishing systems
Work on premium, high-value vehicles
