We are seeking a detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our team and serve as a key support resource throughout the financial planning process. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys financial analysis, client interaction, and working in a collaborative environment where organization, accuracy, and responsiveness are highly valued.
Position Overview
The Paraplanner plays an integral role in supporting advisors by managing financial planning preparation, analyzing client information, creating planning deliverables, and assisting with ongoing client service needs. This individual will work closely with advisors to ensure a seamless planning experience while helping maintain the high level of service our clients expect.
This role is well-suited for someone looking to deepen their financial planning knowledge, gain exposure to all aspects of the client experience, and build a long-term career within the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare financial planning recommendations and initial product solutions for advisor review and use in client meetings
Gather, review, and analyze client financial information to support planning strategies and recommendations
Prepare charts, graphs, tables, and other visual aids for client presentations and implementation meetings
Develop portfolio and product solution recommendations that align with client goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon
Maintain client communication throughout the financial planning process
Respond to client inquiries and provide account servicing support as appropriate and allowable
Review and update client information in preparation for client review meetings
Attend and participate in client meetings as needed
Coordinate and track projects, follow-up items, and ongoing planning initiatives
Perform additional practice management and client service responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
Two or more years of financial services industry experience preferred
Previous experience in a paraplanner, financial planning, client service, or advisor support role strongly preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with advisors and team members
Licensing Requirements
Candidates must currently hold or be willing to obtain the following licenses within six months of hire:
Series 7
Series 66
State Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License

Compensation & Benefits
$31–$43 per hour, depending on experience
