Summary
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) Engineer to oversee the quality of our products from development through to production and support Failure Analysis from RMA or quality issues highlighted from clients. The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing quality processes, testing, and inspection protocols, as well as identifying defects, monitoring correction actions until issues closed, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role involves close collaboration with design, production, and supplier teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Role & Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance (QA)
Develop and implement QA processes to ensure products meet specifications during the development phase.
Provide assistance for FA from RMA or address issues raised by clients
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, production, suppliers) to establish standards, processes, and guidelines that promote quality.
Conduct risk assessments and process audits to identify potential quality issues early in the production lifecycle.
Implement preventive measures and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to minimize defects and enhance product quality.
Work with design and engineering teams to ensure design validation and product testing are integrated early in the product lifecycle.
Quality Control (QC):
Conduct inspections and tests of products to identify quality issues during or after production.
Develop and maintain QC checklists, test plans, and inspection procedures for materials, components, and finished products.
Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards and specifications.
Perform root cause analysis for defects and ensure effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that raw materials meet the required quality standards through supplier audits and inspections.
Maintain detailed records of test results, inspections, and non-conformance reports.
Continuous Improvement:
Lead quality improvement initiatives and drive process enhancements that lead to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved product quality.
Conduct statistical analysis and report on key quality metrics (e.g., defect rates, process capability) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in a manufacturing or production environment.
Knowledge of relevant regulations, including UL certification and IEC 60950 / IEC 62368, is preferred.
Strong knowledge of quality standards, tools, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC).
Experience with inspection techniques (manual and automated), including testing software and equipment.
Familiarity with root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve quality issues. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently to ensure product quality.
Certification in quality assurance or control (e.g., ASQ, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt) is a plus.
Bilingual in English & Mandarin is a Plus.

For Pay Transparency-Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $85,000 - $130,000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
