Base pay range
$20.00/hr - $24.00/hr
We’re partnering with our client, a metal manufacturing organization, to find a talented Quality Technician in an on-site setting. This temporary-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
6-12 month contract + extend
Onsite 5 days per weeks
1st or 2nd shifts available
Responsibilities:
Perform floor audits alongside production staff to verify quality standards and document data accurately.
Inspect products utilizing gauges, coordinate measuring machines, scales, oscilloscopes, and vision systems before shipment.
Calibrate measuring gauges regularly to ensure precision.
Examine incoming raw materials to maintain quality compliance.
Conduct internal audits to verify adherence to ISO9001:2015 standards and perform final/dock inspections of products for shipment.
Qualifications:
At least one year of experience in quality control within a machining metals manufacturing environment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic setting to meet quality and delivery goals.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven team-oriented mindset.
Willingness to work on the shop floor supporting production machinists.
Attention to detail and thoroughness; experience with CMM, Keyence, SurfCom programming tools a plus but will train.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, database software, and order processing systems; CMM experience is a plus but will be trained on.
