Quality Technician [82935]

We’re partnering with our client, a metal manufacturing organization, to find a talented Quality Technician in an on-site setting. This temporary-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

• 6-12 month contract + extend
• Onsite 5 days per weeks
• 1st or 2nd shifts available

Responsibilities:

• Perform floor audits alongside production staff to verify quality standards and document data accurately.
• Inspect products utilizing gauges, coordinate measuring machines, scales, oscilloscopes, and vision systems before shipment.
• Calibrate measuring gauges regularly to ensure precision.
• Examine incoming raw materials to maintain quality compliance.
• Conduct internal audits to verify adherence to ISO9001:2015 standards and perform final/dock inspections of products for shipment.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience in quality control within a machining metals manufacturing environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic setting to meet quality and delivery goals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor supporting production machinists.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness; experience with CMM, Keyence, SurfCom programming tools a plus but will train.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, database software, and order processing systems; CMM experience is a plus but will be trained on.
