We’re looking for a detail-oriented, highly motivated Recruiter to join our growing team. This role plays a critical part in attracting and hiring top talent to support our expanding operations in Tualatin and Dallas, Oregon.
As a Recruiter at Ascentec Engineering, you will own the full-cycle recruitment process—from creating and posting job opportunities to sourcing candidates, conducting initial screenings, coordinating interviews, and guiding candidates through the pre-employment process. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers to ensure a seamless, efficient, and high-quality hiring experience.
This position is onsite (not remote/not hybrid) at our Tualatin, Oregon headquarters with occasional travel to our Dallas, Oregon facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, publish, and manage job postings across company and external platforms
Proactively source and engage qualified candidates using tools such as Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter
Review resumes and applications to identify top talent aligned with role requirements
Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and fit
Coordinate interview logistics and schedules with hiring managers and stakeholders
Partner in the interview process, delivering thoughtful, data-driven candidate evaluations
Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruiting activities within the ATS
Collaborate with department leaders to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
Provide consistent updates and insights on recruiting progress to HR leadership and senior management
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS); Paylocity experience is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Working knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Adaptability and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting

$60,000 to $75,000 per year DOE
