About The Role
The Regional Sales Manager for the Mid-Atlantic & Northeast is responsible for driving revenue growth across a multi-state territory. This role focuses on developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and positioning APCON solutions with clarity and confidence.
This is a high impact individual contributor role that requires someone who is self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while managing a large territory and frequent travel.
Mid-Atlantic & Northeast Territory: PA, MD, DE, WV, VA, KY
Travel: Up to 75%
What You Will Do
Develop and execute a territory strategy that aligns with APCON growth goals
Identify, qualify, and close new enterprise and channel business opportunities
Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, discovery, demonstrations, proposals, negotiation, and close
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and technical decision makers
Work with Sales Engineering to deliver effective demonstrations and solution designs
Represent APCON at regional events, conferences, and trade shows
Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and sales documentation
Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Support to ensure a positive customer experience
What You Bring
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Three or more years of outside sales experience selling technical hardware and software solutions to large enterprises
Experience selling into data centers is highly preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
Proven success meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
Strong relationship building, presentation, and problem solving skills
Travel And Driving Requirements
Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record
Reliable personal transportation and valid automobile insurance
Ability to travel frequently within the region, up to 75%
Physical Requirements
Ability to travel by car and airplane
Ability to sit, stand, bend, twist, reach, carry, lift, pull, and push between 1 and 15 pounds
Ability to operate a computer, phone, and standard office equipment
Ability to communicate clearly in person, by phone, and in writing
