Safety Manager

Our client, a premier manufacturer of meat and seafood, is seeking a hands-on, people-focused Safety Manager to join their team in Denver. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a highly visible role where you can make an immediate impact on safety culture, training, and daily operations within a leading protein processing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead all plant safety programs, training, audits, and OSHA compliance
• Deliver engaging safety training for new hires and current employees
• Partner closely with Operations, HR, Food Safety, and Facilities teams
• Conduct incident investigations and implement preventive measures
• Manage workers' compensation claims and return to work coordination
• Maintain a strong daily presence on the production floor in refrigerated areas

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5 years of safety experience in manufacturing or a similar industrial environment
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Experience conducting training, audits, and incident investigations
• Strong communication and coaching skills
• Comfortable working in cold environments and partnering closely with production teams
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications are a plus
