About The Role
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Strategy & Analytics is responsible for leading the development of analytics, insights, and strategic initiatives that improve end-to-end supply chain performance. This role partners with Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance, and Commercial teams to identify opportunities, drive data-based decision-making, and deliver measurable business results.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, business acumen, and leadership capabilities to translate complex data into actionable recommendations and execute strategic improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Performance
Support the development and execution of supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
Identify opportunities to improve service, inventory, cost, productivity, and working capital performance.
Lead strategic analyses and business case development for network, inventory, sourcing, and operational initiatives.
Evaluate supply chain risks and develop data-driven mitigation recommendations.
Analytics & Insights
Develop and maintain KPI frameworks, scorecards, dashboards, and performance reporting.
Analyze trends and identify root causes of operational performance gaps.
Generate actionable insights from large and complex datasets.
Lead analytical initiatives related to demand planning, inventory optimization, transportation, warehousing, and manufacturing.
Project Leadership
Manage cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop implementation plans and monitor results against targets.
Facilitate decision-making through scenario modeling and financial analysis.
Support digital transformation and analytics capability development.
People Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop analysts and analytics professionals.
Establish priorities, goals, and performance expectations.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
Minimum Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
Experience
7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, strategy, analytics, operations, or related disciplines.
Minimum 2-3 years of people leadership experience.
Experience leading cross-functional projects and business improvement initiatives.
Experience working with supply chain planning, inventory, logistics, manufacturing, or sourcing organizations.
Technical Skills
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, etc.).
Strong understanding of supply chain performance metrics and financial analysis.
Experience with SQL highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree (MBA, Supply Chain, Analytics, Engineering, or related field).
APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD).
Experience with predictive analytics, optimization, or AI-enabled supply chain solutions.
