Duties & Responsibilities:
Job Description:
The manufacturing engineer shall be the technical resource for the manufacturing area and report directly to the Manufacturing Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform Time Studies for the different processes.
Troubleshoot products in Surface Mount Technology Assembly, Manual Assembly & Housing (MASH), Potting,
Conformal Coating & Rework processes.
Provide design for manufacturability feedback to product design engineers.
Control of incoming & in-process quality of Solder Paste.
Set up, program & maintenance of:
Solder Paste Printing Equipment.
SMT automated pick and place assembly equipment.
SMT Reflow Ovens, & Temperature Profiling.
Laser equipment.
Soldering Robot.
Implement and document new product SMT assembly procedures.
Able to run the SMT Area Equipment in emergencies occasions when operator is not available.
Design & improvement of:
Manual solder assembly fixtures
Robotic soldering fixtures
Laser cutting / de-paneling fixtures.
Design & maintain equipment & fixtures for:
Robotic encapsulation / potting.
Automated bolting robot.
Develop torque values used in manufacturing processes.
Provide engineering support & solutions to day-to-day operation of SMT Assembly, MASH,
