About The Role
As a Senior Revenue Strategy Manager at The RealReal, you will lead the definition, execution, and measurement of our highest-priority strategic revenue initiatives. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of Sales, Marketing, Product, Merchandising, Finance, and Operations, serving as the primary program manager and orchestrator of our cross-functional growth roadmap. You will be responsible for building robust business cases, establishing clear project governance, and tracking impact.
We are looking for a highly collaborative, execution-focused leader to work cross-functionally and operationalize our Revenue goals. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of sales, revenue operations and program management, excels at translating high-level strategy into structured, actionable project deliverables, and has a proven track record of driving top-line growth in a fast-paced environment.

With a rigorous authentication process overseen by experts, The RealReal provides a safe and reliable platform for consumers to buy and sell their luxury items. We have hundreds of in-house gemologists, horologists, and brand authenticators who inspect thousands of items each day. As a sustainable company, we give new life to pieces by thousands of brands across numerous categories—including women's and men's fashion, fine jewelry and watches, art, and home—in support of the circular economy. We make selling effortless with free virtual appointments, in-home pickup, drop-off, and direct shipping. We handle all of the work for consignors, including authenticating, using AI and machine learning to determine optimal pricing, photographing and listing their items, as well as shipping and customer service.

What You Get To Do Every Day
- Partner with executive leadership to identify, prioritize, and scope strategic revenue opportunities (e.g., channel optimization, retention campaigns, etc.).
- Build business cases and structured project charters that clearly outline objectives, resource needs, and expected ROI.
- Lead complex, cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives from conception to launch.
- Establish project timelines, milestones, and governance structures to keep teams accountable and moving fast.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks, manage risks, and unblock with cross-functional partners to ensure on-time delivery.
- Define the key performance indicators (KPIs) for each initiative and build dashboards to track success.
- Conduct post-launch reviews to analyze performance against targets and extract insights for future playbooks.
- Regularly synthesize data into concise, high-impact updates for the executive team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree, an MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Strategy, or Business Operations—ideally with an emphasis on strategy development and program management.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: A proven track record of leading by influence. You can get cross-functional partners aligned on the same page, even when they have competing priorities.
- Analytical Rigor: Strong business acumen & modeling skills. You are comfortable diving into spreadsheets, analyzing revenue metrics, and using data to back up your decisions.
- Execution Focus: Exceptional organizational skills. You know how to break down a corporate goal into digestible, sprint-by-sprint deliverables.
- Communication: The ability to translate complex data and cross-functional dependencies into clear, concise updates for executive stakeholders.
- Creative Problem Solver: Highly motivated by creating new solutions and able to challenge the status quo.
- Business Intelligence: Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
- Sales Model Understanding: Familiarity with Sales funnel metrics, including leads, conversion, GMV, Active Customer Base, Retention, etc., ideally in Retail or Marketplace environment
