Software Engineer Intern

The software engineering intern provides technical support to software development efforts across projects, tasks, or business units.

Essential Responsibilities

• Software development support to active projects, including coding, debugging, and testing under the guidance of senior engineers
• Assistance in designing, developing, and maintaining software components, tools, or internal applications
• Support for system integration, validation, and troubleshooting activities across development environments
• Participation in Agile events, contributing to sprint tasks, documentation, and technical discussions
• Basic analysis and problem-solving for defects, performance issues, or enhancement requests
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Essential Required Experience & Skills

• University Senior or Graduate level student in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Strong quantitative abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#)
• Basic understanding of software development principles and lifecycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git)
• Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and analyze code issues
  
  

Educational Requirements

• Working on a Bachelor's Degree or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a related field.
• In lieu of a degree, equivalent experience may be accepted.
