What You’ll Do As a Sports Tour Director, you are the key on-the-ground leader and point of contact for our travel groups. You’ll take responsibility for the successful delivery of each tour, ensuring an exceptional experience for every participant. Every tour involves stadium tours, friendly fixtures, coaching clinics, attendance at professional matches, and local sightseeing.
Your role will include: Welcoming and accompanying groups throughout the duration of their tour Coordinating travel logistics including airport arrivals, hotel check-ins, training sessions, fixtures, and excursions Managing and following the itinerary while adapting plans when needed Providing clear communication, leadership, and problem-solving on tour Representing WorldStrides Sports with professionalism, energy, and care Ensuring the safety, satisfaction, and enjoyment of all group members
What We’re Looking For Our ideal Sports Tour Director is: Passionate about football, travel, and youth development Friendly, confident, and highly organized Able to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure A clear communicator with strong leadership and people skills Comfortable managing group logistics and liaising with suppliers and internal teams Available to travel for up to 9 consecutive days across the UK and internationally
Key Details Contract Type: Zero hours / flexible contract Compensation: Earn up to £1100 a week. Main Locations: Glasgow, Manchester, London, Amsterdam Tour Duration: Up to 9 days Primary Sport: Football, other sports = Tennis, Rugby, Lacrosse, Swimming.
