Responsibilities
How you’ll make an impact in this role
Supports facilities operations by managing building systems, maintenance, grounds, energy use, and equipment inventories to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Oversees staffing activities including scheduling, training, and daily work assignments to maintain appropriate coverage and team performance.
Ensures compliance with regulatory and safety standards (e.g., TJC), including conducting audits, maintaining documentation, and supporting inspections.
Manages vendor and contractor relationships, including project coordination, bid processes, and monitoring performance for repairs, maintenance, and capital projects.
Supports budget management by reviewing purchase requests, coordinating with vendors and Purchasing, and ensuring alignment with financial and operational goals.
Drives process improvement and operational efficiency while maintaining strong communication and customer service with internal stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.
Qualifications
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Education:
Requirement of High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Five years’ experience in the maintenance and operation of a physical plant and/or building maintenance for a large facility
